Tuna pasta

Tuna pasta – ready in less than 15 minutes. This recipe is quick to make, the sauce is not cooked but prepared in a blender, and the flavors are so different yet go so well together.



Ingredients:

  •     300 grams Szatmari shell pasta
  •     2 cans of tuna
  •     50 grams feta cheese
  •     30 grams fresh basil
  •     1 cucumber
  •     300 grams cherry tomatoes
  •     50 grams sun-dried tomatoes
  •     1 hot pepper
  •     1 red bell pepper
  •     4 garlic cloves
  •     1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  •     1 tablespoon olive oil – from the sun-dried tomatoes

  Preparation method:

  1.     Put a pot of water on the stove and season it with salt
  2.     Add the shell pasta to the boiling water and let it cook for 5–8 minutes
  3.     Wash the tomatoes, bell pepper, hot pepper, cucumber, and basil leaves
  4.     Peel the cucumber and garlic
  5.     Cut the bell pepper
  6.     In the blender container, add the cherry tomatoes, cucumber, hot pepper, pieces of bell pepper, sun-dried tomatoes, basil leaves, garlic, and one tablespoon of olive oil
  7.     Turn on the blender until a paste-like consistency forms
  8.     Stop the blender, mix well with a spoon, and add the balsamic vinegar
  9.     Turn on the blender again for a few seconds
  10.     Drain the pasta
  11.     Place the pasta in a bowl and add the sauce, mixing well
  12.     Arrange the pasta and sauce on a plate
  13.     Cut a few cherry tomatoes into small pieces and place them over the pasta
  14.     Add pieces of tuna, feta, and basil leaves
  15.     Drizzle the pasta with a little olive oil
